As the Partnerships Assistant, you’ll support the development and delivery of impactful fundraising initiatives, helping to strengthen relationships with key donors and funding bodies. From researching funding opportunities to assisting with proposals, donor communications, and stewardship, your role will be essential in ensuring Ashgate can continue its vital work. You will work closely with the Senior Trust and Grants Fundraiser to write compelling applications and build meaningful relationships with donors, trust foundations, and grant providers, ensuring they feel connected to the hospice’s vision and see the tangible impact of their support. About you: We are looking for an individual who is interested in working in the charity sector, who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real difference within the community. You will be positive, organised and open to learning opportunities. Skills and experience required: Have a good level of understanding of English and Maths that supports great communication with others An interest in fundraising administration A desire to work efficiently and with integrity Communication skills (both written and verbal) A proactive approach to developing skills Self-motivated and a good team player Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages to: write letters or emails, create meeting agendas, record information. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages.
