ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - SAINSBURY'S
Location: x4 days a week working from their office in North Yorkshire
The Role: Part of one of the largest food manufacturing producers in Canada, this exciting business have an exceptional opportunity to join their National Accounts team as an Account Executive, supporting a highly experienced and dynamic National Account Manager in the day to day management of the Sainsbury's account, representing their outstanding range of high quality own-label meat products.
This role will see you fully immersed in the day to day running of one of the top 4 grocers, giving you invaluable exposure on what it takes to keep an account of this size running, involved with everything from meetings with buyers, to contract negotiations, to putting together JBP's and managing a P&L. On joining the business, you will predominantly be operating in an administrative capacity, reviewing key performance data from various sources including EPOS, CRM and Customer Insights, digesting this and reporting your findings back to the National Account Manager, but being based in the office you will be fully integrated in other aspects of managing the account and will gradually take on more and more responsibility.
With an annual spend of circa £150 million this role will offer significant variation & development where you will use your prior experience within either an analytical role, category role or junior NAM/NAE as a spring board to embed yourself in a more holistic role of managing a national account. Our client are committed to investing in YOU to give you everything you need in order to fast track you into working as a fully fledged National Account Manager.
The role will be predominantly office based at their site in the Malton, to encourage strong internal relationships with all departments, as well as to enable collaboration within the National Accounts team, so you will be need to live within commutable distance.
The Person:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will...
* Ideally an individual on an upward trajectory in their career - currently working within a National Accounts team in some capacity, ideally either as an Analyst, Category Assistant or NAE/Junior NAM level looking for a step up in their career.
* Currently be supporting on National Retail accounts, ideally grocery but would consider anything including Cash & Carry/Wholesale, Discounters, High Street.

The Package:
* Basic salary between £30-35'000 (dependent on current package and experience)
