We are currently seeking an Deputy Head Teacher based at our SEN School in Congleton.
This school is a friendly and successful provision, currently supporting a number of vulnerable young children aged 7-18 years with special education needs. The school is also a base for our outreach services.

12. Qualified teacher status (QTS)
13. Experience of teaching at key stages 4 and 5, ideally in a core subject (English, maths or science)
14. Candidates who hold a relevant National Professional Qualification e.g. NPQSL, NPQLT or NPQLBC (or willingness to complete such a professional qualification)
15. Demonstrable experience of implementing and maintaining safeguarding strategies at middle/senior level
16. Proven experience of implementing school-wide assessment
17. Proven experience in school improvement.
18. Subject specialism (maths and/or science would be desirable but we welcome applications from qualified teachers of all subjects) and a willingness to teach lessons during holiday/sickness cover
19. SEND/SEMH experience
20. A willingness to act as a delegated authority in the absence of the Headteacher

22. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
