Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Account Manager to oversee their sales function. This role is responsible for the pricing and quoting of industrial equipment installations. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in AutoCAD and in a similar sector.
Main Responsibilities:
* Travel across the UK and Ireland to visit clients, strengthening and nurturing both new and existing customer relationships.
* Produce detailed equipment proposals and competitive pricing quotes that meet customer requirements.
* Utilise AutoCAD to create accurate equipment layouts and designs for sales proposals.
* Coordinate with factories and suppliers to ensure product availability and adherence to quality standards.
* Assist other sales managers with technical and commercial insights for proposal preparation.
* Act as the first point of contact for all incoming business enquiries, managing them professionally.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in sales or account management within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* A background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical engineering.
* Able to work collaboratively within a team while also being confident in handling tasks independently.
* Competency in AutoCAD is essential for producing equipment designs and layouts.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
* Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland.
* A full clean UK driving licence.
Additional Information:
* Head office is based in Banbury but the role will cover the entire UK & Ireland.
* Company Car provided.
* Working hours Monday to Friday; this is a 40-hour working week.
* 25 days holiday per year + Bank Holidays.
