About the role:
The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join the clinical years MBBS team at our Westlakes Campus. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure successful delivery of the undergraduate MBBS clinical years (a.k.a. Phase II – students in years 3-5).
A critical element of this role is liaison with the University's partner clinical institutions. The role involves monitoring attendance, collating student feedback and providing support with portfolios and assessments. The post holder will plan the delivery of campus-based teaching and liaise with internal staff and external organisations to organise delivery. The post holder will work at the University's Westlakes Campus. Occasional travel to other University campuses and partner institutions may be required.
About you:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in administration. As a minimum, candidates will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning. You will have excellent communication skills as you will deal with academic and clinical staff, and will often be the first port of call for student queries. You will have good IT skills and will be able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
