Job Title: Band 6 Occupational Therapist Ealing MINT Team Location: Ealing Acton, West London NHS Trust Team: MINT (Mental Health Integrated Network Team) Pay Rate: £27 per hour Contract Type: Locum / Agency Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am5pm) J ob Description: We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Ealing Acton MINT team within West London NHS Trust. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team delivering community mental health care in line with the NHS Long Term Plan. As part of the MINT model, youll work with individuals presenting with a range of complex mental health needs, supporting them to live as independently as possible in the community. You will contribute to comprehensive assessments, recovery planning, and implementation of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions. Key Responsibilities: Carry out holistic occupational therapy assessments and deliver tailored interventions Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and the wider MDT Promote recovery, independence, and social inclusion in community settings Support service users with goal setting, vocational activities, daily living skills, and social participation Contribute to risk assessments, care plans, and CPA reviews Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Trust policies Participate in team meetings and clinical supervision Liaise with community services, primary care, and voluntary sector partners Requirements: HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Experience working at Band 6 level within community mental health settings Strong understanding of recovery-focused and trauma-informed practice Able to manage a caseload independently Excellent communication and organisational skills Right to work in the UK Benefits: Competitive hourly rate: £27 per hour Weekly payroll Flexible working arrangements Dedicated consultant support Opportunity to work within an innovative, supportive MINT team model ADZN1_UKTJ
