Apply now to join our team and contribute to making Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust a great place to work Main duties of the job As an Assistant Human Resources Partner, you will provide comprehensive HR support to the division, maintaining high professional standards. You will address first-line HR queries from line managers and manage sickness absence levels across the division. This includes supporting line managers in sickness absence meetings and providing policy advice, as well as monitoring and reporting on sickness absence data. You will promote staff health and well-being, assist in resolving employee relations issues informally, and champion best HR practices by training managers. Additionally, you will support staff engagement, workforce planning, and talent management initiatives, contributing to the Trust's People Strategy and delivering workforce training. Your role will involve gathering and reporting workforce metrics, promoting staff surveys, and supporting action planning. You will also implement workforce modernisation initiatives, participate in job evaluations, and advise on job descriptions. Supporting policy development, national HR initiatives, and staff consultations, as well as undertaking project work and staying updated on employment legislation, will be key aspects of your responsibilities. You will also support the Trust with its responsibilities as a UK visa sponsoring employer, including monitoring and reporting on right to work data, issuing Certificates of Sponsorship and providing advice to line managers.
