EEAST is seeking an administrator to provide administrative support to the Inclusivity Team to aid the successful delivery of EEAST’s Inclusivity Plan. The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative/secretarial support in a number of ways, working collaboratively across the Inclusivity Team. The postholder will need to be able to work effectively and efficiently without close supervision and requires strong time management skills and to be able to manage and prioritise their own workload.
This role offers agile working allowing post holders to work from home with occasional travel across the trust region.
• Work collaboratively across theInclusivity Team to ensure timely acknowledgement and assistance with all enquiries to the department.
• Provide administrative support using Microsoft Office packages and other Trust supported systems. This includes establishing and maintaining office systems both paper and electronic to a high standard
• Communicate effectively with senior managers, managers, staff, and colleagues both internal and external. Communicate in a confidential manner when appropriate, with a high degree of understanding in relation to own role
• Keeping a log of all reporting/submission/meeting deadlines and alert theInclusivity Team accordingly
• Support theInclusivity team in filling any network vacancies and assisting in advertising the roles, arranging interviews supported by relevant paperwork
• Work collaboratively with internal partners, this includes within the People Services Directorate and other Directorates in EEAST and also external partners. Such as other Ambulance Trusts, other NHS organisations, Integrated Care Boards.
• Make regular contact with action owners in relation to EEAST’s Inclusivity Plan and update the master templates on a regular basis and within agreed time frames
