On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Cyber Security Innovation Manager on an initial 12-month contract. As the Cyber Security Innovation Manager, you will undertake cutting-edge digital security research and innovation activities with the ultimate goal of developing solutions to business problems for which a solution doesn't currently exist. Further, the jobholder builds and maintains awareness and knowledge of best-practice technology trends and commercially available digital security solutions.

Pay: £45 per hour Via Umbrella
Location: Newport
Contract: Monday - Friday 37 hours per week, 12 months contract
IR35 Status: Inside

Responsibilities
1. Coordinate Cyber Security innovation across the business to maximise alignment. Build and maintain a working network across Airbus among subject matter peers and stakeholders. Undertake internal & external engagements on behalf of the digital security office.
2. Collaborate in Cyber Security innovation activities with internal peers to ensure cyber security is considered in joint projects and deliverables.
3. Provide consultancy services on your specialist area of Cyber Security innovation across the business to ensure knowledge transfer.
4. Deliver innovation projects, activity reports, and presentations to cost, quality, and time constraints.
5. Build and maintain a research network to support the specialist Cyber Security subject. Support the development and maintenance of a Cyber Innovation Roadmap for your specialist area to capture future threats, opportunities, and potential projects.
6. Provide significant contributions to the transition of innovation knowledge and technologies into Airbus business and digital security operations, including training, presentations, and reports.
7. Participate in a group-wide cyber innovation steering body.
8. Attend and contribute to conferences and events (business/academic).
9. Support external digital security innovation agreements, collaborations, and partnerships with specialist subject expertise and industrial/context-of-use guidance.
10. Provide expert services (consultancy) to the internal business on the specialist cyber subject as required.
Essential Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning.
2. Recent PhD or Masters relevant to 'Cyber Security of AI ML' within the last 5 - 10 years.
3. Professional training/certifications and experience in Cyber Security.
4. Understanding of Cyber Psychology (exp. cyber use of biases).
5. Deep AI/ML algorithm and application knowledge (ideally Cyber aspects).
6. Experience of research, innovation, and/or solution development.
7. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
8. Excellent spoken and written English.
9. Technical specialist in AI / ML techniques.
