The school: We are currently looking for a teaching support worker to work across the board in an school based in Sutton. The right person will be working in our SEND school based in south west London. you will be required to support small classes of students at low ability who need academic as well as social development. There are 5-6 students in a class with one to two Teaching and Learning Support Assistants. Our young people have struggled in mainstream education and need a positive experience. The majority of pupils are on EHCP and have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or Autism and complex needs. The Teacher will become part of a team that specialise in delivering curriculum designed to meet individual needs and give our students the best possible educational outcomes. Job Responsibilities Able to work with groups or 1:1 support within the classroom. Supporting pupils with Complex Needs, PMLD, Autism & Learning Difficulties Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development The School: is a school based in the Sutton ensure the Accessibility for the students. They are looking for candidates to work one to one and in small groups with the students, you must be enthusiastic and have the knowledge or want to learn and train to work with SEND. You must have: Experience of working with children with SEN, Autism ADHD or SLD A commitment to ongoing professional development. An excellent knowledge of the specialist curriculum area and how it may be effectively taught.
