We are looking for an experienced Revenues practitioner with sufficient experience to deal with complex debt recovery processes relating to the recovery of Council Tax, National Non Domestic Rates (NNDR) and Business Improvement District (BID) debts, including acting as the Council’s plaintiff in the magistrates’ court, working with customers and partner agencies. The candidate will also secure maximum levels of payment relating to Sundry Debtor income through litigation and proactive initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation and communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to customer care.
The postholder will be required to conduct occasional visits to homes and businesses and will therefore need a car and driving licence. A sound working knowledge of ICT and Microsoft based software is essential.
You must be hardworking and able to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines, have an eye for detail with a genuine passion for delivering excellence.
