We are a Fire and Flood Restoration company working on behalf of some of the major home insurers in the U.K, assisting customers that have had disasters occur in their homes get their properties back to their pre-incident condition.\n Responsibilities: -\nAs well as working towards completing your Business and Administration SCQF level 6 Modern Apprenticeship qualification, you will also be trained to carry out the following duties:\n\nâ¢\tProcess insurance claims by reviewing and verifying information provided.\nâ¢\tFollow set policy and procedure documents for various clients, preparing accurate scoping and reports for the client.\nâ¢\tEnsure accuracy and completeness of claim forms and supporting documentation.\nâ¢\tEnter claim data into the system accurately and efficiently- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with claims.\nâ¢\tCommunicate with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to gather necessary information.\nâ¢\tMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies.\nâ¢\tFollow established procedures and guidelines for claims processing.\nâ¢\tMeet productivity and quality standards set by the company Qualifications.\nâ¢\tPrevious experience in claims processing or related field is not essential but beneficial.\nâ¢\tStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.\nâ¢\tExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.\nâ¢\tProficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong clerical skills, including filing, record keeping, and document management.\nâ¢\tAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nâ¢\tExcellent communication skills, both written. You should hold ideally a minimum National 5 in Maths and English:\n\nâ¢\tIdeally have experience in working in an office environment Excellent keyboard/PC skill.\nâ¢\tThe ability to understand and work with numbers. \nâ¢\tMust have a pleasant telephone manner and an ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.\nâ¢\tMust be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.\nâ¢\tGood Planning organisational skills.\nâ¢\tHave attended college/ show an aptitude for learning & developing.\n
