My client is a founder-led civil engineering firm based on the south coast. After investment from a private equity firm, they’re embarking on a cross functional transformation to professionalise the business and set up the structure for significant organic and inorganic growth. As interim PMO Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future by setting up a Project Management Office (PMO) to drive critical change across IT, Finance, and HR. This includes establishing scalable systems and processes in anticipation of significant growth. You’ll lead governance initiatives, educate teams on best practices, and implement frameworks to support a sustainable back-office infrastructure. They’re seeking an experienced PMO leader/Programme Manager with a proven track record in transformation projects, particularly systems changes. You’ll have experience with founder-led/PE backed businesses and understand the nuances of driving change in a collaborative yet evolving environment. You will be a self-starter, motivated by change and have experience in an adjacent industry (construction, facilities management, infrastructure). This is an initial 6-month project with the potential to become permanent. You must live commutable distance to Exeter, this is an on-site role.
