Mobile Maintenance Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical (Electrical Bias)
Location: Tameside, mobile across Tameside sites
Contract: Full time, permanent.
Hours: 40 hours week. Core hours Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm (variable) and On Call rota covering 24/7/365

Your new role
What you’ll do:
1. To ensure that the Facilities are maintained to the levels specified in the Performance Standards of various contracts.
2. To undertake planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance work on equipment as defined by your core and non-core skills as per the agreed client programme.
3. Provide timely updates to the helpdesk on progress of reactive works and completion of reactive / planned tasks.
4. Provide written technical reports as required, including routine maintenance and reactive reports.
5. Diagnosing faults on all M & E systems and rectifying as within levels of competence.
6. To ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
7. Facilitate site attendance by specialist sub-contractors as required by the contract.
8. Complete all regulatory and mandated documents such as Permit to Work Systems as required.
9. Undertake job specific risk assessments as may be required prior to starting work.
About you:
10. Recognised trade apprenticeship
11. Experience in electrical power distribution systems/ lighting systems/ 18th Edition
12. Experience with BMS Control Systems
13. City & Guilds NVQ in Servicing and Maintaining Air Conditioning - desirable
14. Experience in HVAC control systems - desirable
Valid UK Driving Licence required, minimum 12 months.
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check before starting in the job.
