Electric Star Pubs are an ever expanding, independent pub group with 8 venues in East and North London.
We are now looking for a full time Sales Manager to join the central office sales team.
The ideal candidate will be sharp, customer focused & ready to take on the challenge in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for driving revenue by selling function spaces (up to 250 people), private karaoke booths and large dinner and drinks reservations alongside food, drink and event packages.
Job Description
* Extensive bookings and diary management.
* High volume inbound/outbound calls and email enquiries regarding function rooms, menus, prices & availability.
* Respond efficiently to new enquiries and keep records of customer interactions (using Collins bookings system)
* Make recommendations based on client needs/ cross selling venues
* Upsell food & drink packages to maximise revenue
* Confirm bookings and follow up ‘in progress’ enquiries to meet targets
* Proactive outreach work contacting new businesses & previous bookings.
* Liaise with venue managers/kitchen operators regarding bookings
* Regular reporting against agreed KPIs.
Candidate Attributes:
* Previous experience in a fast paced bookings/reservations/office/hospitality role
* Working knowledge of Collins bookings platform.
* Confident telephone manner is a MUST as cold calling is an integral part of the role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in closing sales and upselling add-ons
* Outgoing personality
* Ability to resolve queries in a proactive, practical and positive manner
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities with minimum supervision
