Role Overview:
Join our team as a Reliability Improvement Engineer at Arla Foods Stourton. You will be responsible for creating a reliability culture across maintenance, engineering and operations. The role will include owning and analysing data, prioritising, leading, and implementing technical and non-technical reliability improvements across operations, maintenance, and engineering. This role demands ownership and leadership in all aspects of reliability and maintenance to eliminate unplanned events, machine stops and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) as well as deputise for Area Maintenance Manager.
How would you make an impact?
* Lead and grow reliability culture across operations and technical functions by owning cross-functional stakeholder weekly and monthly reliability meetings to prioritise, measure, and validate improvement actions using data.
* Be the area SME and own reliability tools and methodology; integrating new technology and plant, change management and improving reliability or cost. For example, own asset criticality, FMEA, asset and maintenance strategy, asset care plans, spares inventory, kaizen, and root cause analysis.
* Hands-on approach to problem solving and implementing engineering improvements. Able to work alone, with, and through others including contractors and OEM.
* Analyse and improve reliability strategies and the cost of maintenance, using risk-based and critical risk-adjusted economic thinking, alternate execution strategies.
* Own and analyse pareto data, find and implement ways to create uptime efficiencies technical and non-technical for example competence and scheduling.
* Bring and develop new ways of working and world-class techniques and methodologies and ownership of reliability measures and improvements: Asset technical availability, MTBF, Kaizen, and RCA close out.

* Competent in Office 365.
* Experience in maintenance strategy development and implementation. Proficiency with tools like CBM, RCA, FMECA, and CMMS (SAP PM).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal.
* Proficient with data handling, Excel, pareto, Power BI and SAP experience is desirable.
* Formal qualification in engineering discipline with a HND, and/or BEng Degree desirable but not essential.
* Leadership experience having held a supervisor or team leader role would be highly desirable.
