You will work with our dedicated teams with ongoing training and supervision. Main duties of the job As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner in Children & Family Health Devon, your role is crucial in providing comprehensive and specialised mental health support to children and young people. Your main duties encompass a range of responsibilities, including assessment, intervention, and collaboration. You will conduct thorough mental health assessments, using a person-centered approach to understand the unique needs of each child. With this understanding, you will develop tailored care plans and implement evidence-based interventions to address their mental health concerns and promote their overall well-being. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, collaboration will be a key aspect of your role. You will provide consultation, advice, and training to colleagues, families, and partner agencies, fostering a collaborative approach to mental health care. Your contributions to multidisciplinary teams will ensure coordinated and integrated care for children and young people. You will support service development and improvement, participating in team meetings, engaging in development opportunities, and staying up to date with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.
