Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of partnered schools in King's Lynn. They are looking for educators to join them on a full time basis, Monday - Friday during term time.
Upon a successful probationary period of 20 working weeks, the school would take applicants on permanently.
About the role:
Sociable hours, NO WEEKENDS – 8.00am-4:00pm (these hours may vary by 45 minutes)
Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.
Assist with classroom activities and help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student development.
Be a source of motivation, encouragement, and positivity for your students.
The ideal candidate will:
Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs
Have previous personal or professional experience working with SEN children (not essential)
Hold a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
Have the passion and drive to work with children - MUST
Able to use own initiative to get involved – MUST
