Recruitment and Induction Interview and Selection - Lead the interview and selection process for new GPs, ensuring adherence to best practices and equal opportunity standards. Onboarding - Oversee the induction process for new GPs, ensuring they receive comprehensive orientation and training. Author and develop site specific induction booklets and on site induction processes where needed. Staff Management Performance Management - Work with the Audit Lead to implement and monitor performance management systems for GPs, providing regular feedback. Professional Development - Work with the Education by Nimbuscare team to coordinate professional development opportunities to enhance GP skills and competencies. Staff Welfare - Collaborate with the Associate Director of HR to manage staff welfare and offer appropriate support. Mandatory Training - Ensuring GPs working in the service remain up to date with Mandatory Training Compliance and address any shortfall appropriately. Leadership and Support Provide Leadership - Offer clear, visible leadership and support to GPs, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Team Collaboration - Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging teamwork and effective communication among GPs. Mentorship - Serve as a mentor to junior GPs, offering guidance and support to promote their professional growth. Supervision - Develop and implement a programme of supervision for GPs. Compliance and Clinical Governance Ensure Compliance - Ensure all recruitment, induction, and staff management practices comply with Nimbuscare policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Clinical Governance - The Urgent Care Lead will work closely with the Governance team to ensure patient safety and experience events are investigated and learning identified. Administrative Duties Record Keeping - Maintain accurate records of recruitment processes, GP performance, and professional development activities.
