My client seeking multiple Section Engineers to join an exciting and high-profile £200m Highways Scheme in the North West. This ambitious 3-year project includes the construction of a new dual carriageway, significant concrete structures, extensive earthworks, and critical junction improvements to transform regional connectivity and traffic flow. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day engineering activities across assigned sections, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications. Manage works involving earthworks, concrete structures, and road construction with precision and attention to detail. Collaborate with the site team to implement junction improvement designs, ensuring traffic management and safety measures are in place. Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and resources to maintain project timelines. Monitor progress and report on project milestones to senior management. Ensure adherence to CDM regulations, quality standards, and project health & safety protocols.What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Section Engineer on highways, civil infrastructure, or major construction projects. Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, and road construction. Familiarity with modern construction methodologies and highway standards. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. A valid CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS qualifications are desirable.What's On Offer: Competitive day rates on a freelance basis.
