The next chapter of our story has begun – we’d love you to be part of it!
After almost 43 years, we are an independently owned company that prides itself on having strong family values. Ian Firth Doors & Hardware is a trusted brand in the housebuilding sector of construction, producing and supplying external residential doors and ironmongery to most of the top UK builders.
Looking to build on strong foundations, we are currently expanding our Admin and After-Sales Teams and seek a flexible individual who enjoys varied tasks.
This office-based part-time role involves a blend of sales order entry onto the computer system, general administration, and supporting After-Sales in logging and booking in remedial jobs with sites and householders.
You should have a great eye for detail and a willingness to learn about the product and process to ensure accuracy in the processing of orders from site call-off to production planning.
Experience with data entry and good personal organization skills are expected; however, a confident telephone manner with professional written communication skills would be a benefit.
An exciting and varied role where two days are rarely going to be the same, so if you have the skills required, are excited to be part of our team, and are willing to learn, we will provide the training to enable you to carry out the tasks effectively.
Our customers expect us to be on hand between the hours of 8:15 am and 5:30 pm, so this role will involve 25 hours per week, 5 hours per day, within these times, Monday to Friday, preferably 8:15 am to 1:15 pm; however, this can be discussed at interview.

Ongoing training and personal development plan.
