Job Title: Acute Occupational Therapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Slough, Buckinghamshire Working Hours: 37.5 per week Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist to work for our fantastic NHS client based in Slough, Buckinghamshire. The role is available for a successful Occupational Therapist to start immediately, offering full-time hours per week for a short term contract. What will your responsibilities be? As an Acute Occupational Therapist, you will assess and manage patients in an acute hospital setting, developing personalised treatment plans to help them regain independence and improve functional abilities. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide timely interventions that support recovery, including managing activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive function. You will educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment use, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Accurate documentation and ensuring patient safety throughout treatment will be essential to your role, as well as staying up-to-date with the latest practices in acute care rehabilitation Qualifications and Experiences: Previous experience within acute settings Previous discharge planning Relevant degree/qualification in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration How to apply?
