Experience Engineer
As an Experience Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and growing our innovative healthcare solutions to enable care at home. You will be an integral member of the UX team and collaborate with product management, engineering, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences through our services and supporting products.
This unique opportunity allows you to support the team's efforts in increasing scalability of our current product offering, driving direct impact on our products, packaging, and design language.
We are seeking a talented individual who can solve complex problems by creating simple solutions to benefit our healthcare providers and patients.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the solutions delivered are unified across physical, digital, and service design.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop unified physical and digital healthcare solutions, including app flows, physical packaging, and user guides
* Represent the UX team within cross-functional projects, working closely with stakeholders such as product managers, supply chain, QA/RA, and software engineering to achieve key deliverables
* Create product delivery solutions driven by customer needs, business goals, and user experience
* Utilize research and create prototypes to guide iterative product development, supported by usability testing and performance evaluation
* Apply 3D CAD skills to design and develop concepts, visualize ideas, and prepare high-quality designs and documentation for production
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, including technical drawings, BOMs, design/engineering change notes, work instructions, and specifications
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree (BSC/BEng/BA) or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Industrial Design, Product Design, or Design Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
* Proficiency in 3D CAD - minimum 1 year of commercial experience
* Experience working in a regulated industry and adherence to recognized standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001)
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance throughout the design and development process
* Understanding of the holistic nature of a product with physical and digital aspects
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovation, showcasing expertise across the physical and digital design spectrum
* Experience in developing UX and design artefacts, including research summaries, sketches, user scenarios, and product renderings
* Background in packaging design, including cardboard, accessories, and vacuum form design
* Experience working on SAAS products
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keyshot, Artios CAD, Solidworks PDM
* Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
* Experience working with electronic quality management systems/document control
* Understanding of supply chain and the designer's role within this
