Kingston Veterinary Group is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our dedicated team working across our six Kingston Veterinary Group sites in East Yorkshire.
Kingston Vet Group is one of the fastest growing practices in East Yorkshire with a very busy but varied caseload. The group has five well-equipped branch surgeries supported by a fantastic Tier 3 Hospital, complete with a diagnostic suite including CT and MRI.
We have a fantastic and hardworking team of 19 committed veterinary surgeons, dedicated RVNs, and a friendly, enthusiastic support team.
About the role
As the first point of contact for our clients in a busy environment, you will be required to ensure all clients and their pets have a comfortable and positive experience within the surgery. Responsibilities include:
1. Meeting and greeting clients
2. Answering the telephone to a broad range of enquiries related to pets' welfare
3. Booking appointments and signing up new clients
4. Looking into first-level financial queries and taking payments
5. Record keeping
6. Providing information on our products and services such as our Pet Health Club (ensuring no clinical advice is given)
7. Maintaining a clean clinical environment in waiting and consultation rooms
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of receptionist experience; medical experience is preferred but not essential.
Hours and salary
The role involves working 4 x 10 hour shifts per week, Monday-Saturday. The salary will be up to £23,795 DOE per annum.
