Job summary The Procurement and Supplier Management Coordinator is a critical support rolewithin the Digital Engagement Team, responsible for managing procurement processes, facilitating administrative functions, and enhancing operational support for digital initiatives and engagements across the Trust. This position serves as a key point of contact for procurement-related inquiries, assists in the organisation of team activities, and plays a pivotal role in streamlining processes to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Main duties of the job Procurement Management Strategic Procurement Planning: o Actively contribute to the development and implementation of the procurement strategy for the Digital Engagement Team, ensuring alignment with the broader Trust objectives and NHS procurement guidelines. o The post holder will proactively engage with key stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and develop detailed procurement schedules that account for lead times, supplier capacity, and market trends. Supplier Selection and Evaluation: o Conduct comprehensive analysis of supplier proposals, focusing on both financial and qualitative criteria. o This includes reviewing pricing structures, service quality, contract terms, and potential risks. o The post holder will lead supplier negotiations, ensuring that all terms of engagement align with the Trust's financial constraints and service delivery expectations. o Where necessary, they will facilitate supplier audits or performance reviews to ensure full compliance with NHS procurement regulations.
