MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: West Midlands
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Freelance MEP Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 Build Contractor in Birmingham.
MEP Quantity Surveyor Role:
To lead and manage the M&E subcontractor package on a local government scheme in the West Midlands.
MEP Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:
1. Feasibility, price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
2. Preparing tender documents, contracts, budgets & bills of quantities.
3. Liaising with clients & contractors to ensure the budget requirements are met.
4. Managing cashflow for large MEP packages throughout delivery.
5. Compiling and issuing commercial reports to the project leadership team for CVRs.
6. Preparing forecasts and reports on financial status and cash flow.
7. Ensuring that the month on month cash position is positive and the forecasted project margin is met or exceeded.
MEP Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
1. HNC/HND Building Services or BSc Quantity Surveying & Construction Management.
2. Experience of working for an M&E Subcontractor is preferable.
3. Experience of working with high value M&E packages.
4. JCT or NEC Forms of Contract.
Rate:
PAYE Option Available £350 Day Rate.
