Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of operations, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong leadership skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance productivity and safety within the organisation. Responsible to the Registered Manager.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Lead and motivate team members to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive work environment.
* Conduct regular surveillance to ensure safety and security within the premises, addressing any issues promptly.
* Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, incidents, and staff performance for management review.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to company property.
* Provide first aid assistance as needed, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Participate in training and development initiatives for staff to improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Strong leadership abilities with a drive to motivate and inspire others.
* Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
* Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
* First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
