Position Overview:
This role will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of water treatment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven track record of managing complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
2. Resource Management: Ensure the availability of personnel, equipment, and materials to meet project demands.
3. Scheduling & Execution: Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
4. Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
5. Quality Control: Ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry and company standards.
6. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to cost constraints.
8. Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and motivation to achieve project goals.
9. Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to optimize project outcomes and efficiency.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, preferably in water treatment or oil and gas.
3. Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
4. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with project management methodologies and relevant industry standards.
5. Leadership: Strong ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
6. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with the ability to develop effective solutions.
