The Service Desk Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT services and systems. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to user inquiries, and maintaining IT infrastructure. The Service Desk Engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional, and effective IT support. What you will need to succeed For this role we are looking for someone with previous experience in an IT Solution Provider or MSP environment, with in-depth knowledge in troubleshooting and the hunger to learn and progress as well as bringing something special to the company. A positive attitude to issue resolution and ownership Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex environments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities. Ability to prioritise and self-manage your workload. You will have excellent client service skills, dealing with time critical issues efficiently as well as being enthusiastic about expanding your technical knowledge. Required Skills You will need as a minimum one of the following qualifications AZ-104 & MS-102 2 years’ experience in a similar role. The ability to ask questions to speedily identify and diagnose issues Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including writing technical guides, documentation and change requests.
