Job Purpose: To efficiently and safely pack products to Valefresco and customer specifications. Understand and follow Health and Safety guidelines, food safety, hygiene and company policies.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
• Process raw materials
• Observe carefully product quality in line with Quality Control to ensure it meets customer and company requirements
• Pack product in accordance with customer specifications and guidelines/checklist including:
o Colours
o Labels/packaging
o Product specification
o Weight
o Quality
o Use by date
• Operate all packing machinery in accordance with correct procedures and instructions
• Follow work schedules to maximise team productivity
• Cleaning and sanitising work area, utensils and equipment on a daily basis or as required
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand, clarify and follow supervisory instructions and directions in accordance with Valefresco policies and procedures found in the Employee Rule Book 2017, Induction documentation and training
• Understand and follow guidelines and instructions from Quality Control (QC)
• Mandatory PPE and food safety and hygiene requirements must be worn/adhered to at ALL times as set out in the Employee Rule Book 2017
• Work with team to ensure product orders are delivered on time and to customer requirements
• Preparation and boxing of orders for despatch to forklift/truck departure (if relevant)
• Completion of final paperwork at end of customer order in preparation for despatch
• Support Field Workers in the field if operationally required
