About the Role - We are looking for operation managers or graduates from the engineering background and have a passion or an interest in the renewable industry. Reporting to the Operations Lead, you will support the Irish Engineering and Operations team in the day to day management of the Irish or the UK portfolios. Title: Operation Manager / Windfarm Engineer Type of Contract: Home based Salary Range: £55,000 per annum (max) / Depending on Experience Responsibilities Windfarm Performance & Optimization Monitor windfarm performance, tracking production, alarms, and failures. Optimize production and asset performance by implementing technical solutions. Ensure windfarms operate in line with O&M contractual obligations. Contract & Compliance Management Manage contracts and agreements for assigned windfarms. Initiate and manage claims against contractors or manufacturers when necessary. Issue letters addressing contractual breaches or other relevant matters. Safety & Risk Management Conduct safety inductions, manage contractors, and deliver toolbox talks. Assess and manage on-site risks, ensuring compliance with CGNEE site standards. Conduct regular HSE reviews and compliance checks. Stakeholder & Legal Affairs Liaise with local stakeholders, landowners, residents, and authorities. Procure, brief, and manage legal representation when required. Report legal or commercial implications to senior management and support resolution. Reporting & Communication Complete monthly reports on production, availability, and outages. Manage meetings and reporting with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Maintain records of meetings, actions, and follow-ups. Procurement & Project Management Oversee competitive tender processes in line with internal policies. Exercise technical and commercial management of subcontractors. Manage projects to completion as required. Site Inspections & Travel Conduct site inspections, including work at height and turbine assessments. Travel to CGNEE wind farm sites in Ireland as required, with occasional trips within Europe. Additional Responsibilities Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications - Education details Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
