Your Newpany A large, leading global constructionpany based in Surrey are looking to extend their team by introducing a new Billing Clerk/Project accountant role to their already brilliant team. With a turnover of £4 billion and over 100 years’ experience, this is an ever growing and expandingpany.Your New RoleThis exciting role will be to provide key support and assistant to the Finance transformation team. The key responsibilities for this Billing Clerk/Project Accountant role are to help the finance team transform and centralise the billing from JD Edwards to the new System, Oracle. To do so, this includes ensuring month end tasks arepleted, supporting correct allocations including staff allocations, time transfers and accounts, while obtaining approval for sales invoices and credit notes. You’ll be working closely with Project Managers, and the Cash Collections team to ensure timely resolution of billing queries and collection of cash.What you’ll need to succeed- AAT Qualification or above would be an advantage
- Strong track record with billing andplex projects.
- A thorough understanding of Oracle.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
-fortable with other Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work as a strong team and build relationships with the project management team.
- Skilled at prioritising workload to ensure key deadlines are met.
