Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services - and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated., Providing help and support to people experiencing mental health difficulties, This is a new four-year Lottery funded project (People and Places) to provide an all-Wales wellbeing and mental health recovery support service, delivering person-focused support to vulnerable Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people in communities within North, Mid, West and Southwest Wales.
Providing help and support to people experiencing mental health difficulties, particularly within minority ethnic communities, enabling them to sustain independent life in the community., Provide relevant support to enable people to maintain their independence and to achieve their aspirations for independent living.
Increase the motivation of individuals.
Coordinate and develop the volunteer befriending role.
Support individuals to pursue outside activities/interests.
Support individuals to have the confidence necessary to appreciate that they can exercise choices.
Develop the role of volunteers in delivering services to clients.
Provide relevant online digital support for ethnic minority individuals through various online activities that promote mental health and wellbeing.
