Position: Administrator
Contract Duration: 8 month contract
Location: Portsmouth
Hours: 37 hours a week
Salary: £12.60 per hour
An experienced administrator is required to provide administrative support for the project delivery teams using the ERP system to ensure that technical and standards data used in support of the execution for projects and services supplied by the Ship Delivery Team is governed properly. This will involve administration of the configuration control of the projects requirement data, release of work, the change request process, and work acceptance along with assisting to capture relevant project information from production.
Key Duties:
1. Process Change Request approval steps and ensure ERP administration changes on each step are carried out correctly and within governance requirements, and the Change Request letters are produced.
2. Assist with the configuration control of relevant project documentation, connecting to SAP appropriately.
3. Assist with collation and processing of other project-related data and information as required.
4. Manage Change Request processes.
5. Attend project meetings.
6. Process 152 and other customer acceptance approval steps as required and generate PACSS documents.
The jobholder will have good knowledge of administration processes within a ship repair environment along with experience of administration work in the context of general H&S/Environmental regulations and safe working practices. Awareness of Refit/installation/repair in a shipyard environment would be an advantage in addition to experience of planning and business information systems. An awareness of ERP Systems and how different business areas function is required.
Having experience with SAP would be desired but not essential. The role will be working with a team of 6 administrators. You will be working alongside project managers, assistant project managers, planners, and industrial staff. You will also be liaising with a variety of stakeholders.
