The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join an award winning Engineering consultancy based in Cambridge or Bristol.

Some of your duties will include:
You will be working on a varied portfolio of projects both in the UK and Internationally
Providing technical advice to clients on the operation of electrical/mechanical engineering services in existing buildings
Preparing Fee Proposals
Delivering refurbishment and upgrade projects from inception to completion
You will have the opportunity to lead electrical services design on large projects, and lead overall MEP on small to medium-sized projects within the office
Responsible for dealing successfully with Clients and other professionals
What do you need to succeed?
Excellent technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering
Thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering
Good experience in the use of standards and codes applied in building services
Wiring Regulations; Fire Detection Systems; General and Emergency Lighting design knowledge
Previous consultancy experience: you will appreciate the importance of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering, and computer modelling in the design of buildingsBenefits:
