Job Summary
To support the Service in providing high standards of care and quality of life. In particular to provide high quality support and promote independence in all aspects of daily life to people in their own homes, in training, in employment and in leisure activities.
Our ideal candidate for this role will have:
* Experience of supporting or caring for others, especially those with a learning disability, either from family, employment or voluntary work
* Experience of working within a team as well as working independently
* Able to communicate effectively with people, including people using services, their families and colleagues
* Knowledge of the needs and rights of people with learning disabilities and an understanding of the issues people may face
