Why we need you

As a Compliance Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our operations by ensuring adherence to legal standards, streamlining processes, and mitigating risks. You will collaborate with stakeholders to monitor compliance activities, refine policies, and provide actionable guidance on regulatory obligations. By conducting audits, tracking compliance metrics, and overseeing third-party and AML processes, you will help drive operational integrity.
A self-starter with a proactive mindset, you will take ownership of your responsibilities, navigate complexity, and deliver impactful results in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
Regulatory Compliance:
1. Ensure the company's operations comply with UKGC licensing conditions, codes of practice (LCCP), and AML regulations.
2. Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations affecting the online gambling industry and communicate updates to relevant teams.
Policy and Procedure Support:
1. Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
Monitoring and Auditing:
1. Conduct regular compliance checks, including monitoring customer interactions, advertising content, and promotions for compliance with UKGC rules.
2. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML):
1. Conduct and document customer risk assessments and enhanced due diligence (EDD) for higher-risk customers.
2. Review and analyse transactions for suspicious activity, reporting concerns to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).
Affiliate and Third-Party Oversight:
1. Support due diligence processes for affiliates and white-label partners to ensure they meet regulatory and company standards.
2. Monitor affiliate marketing for compliance with advertising codes of practice, ensuring accuracy and legality.
Training and Awareness:
1. Assist in delivering compliance training for staff, raising awareness of regulatory obligations and best practices.
2. Provide guidance and support to other departments on compliance-related queries.
3. Provide guidance and support to the customer support team on safer gambling related queries.
Reporting and Recordkeeping:
1. Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including customer checks, training, and regulatory correspondence.
2. Maintain records of safer gambling activities, including interactions and actions applied to customer accounts.
3. Assist in carrying out safer gambling procedures to ensure the company follows internal policies, and is complying with the UKGC customer interaction guidance.
4. Carry out safer gambling interactions with customers via email and phone call, including addressing potential harms, providing information on how to gamble safely, and providing support to those harmed.
5. Monitor and handle potential gambling harm and vulnerability alerts.
