Role Summary
As the Digital Optimisation Lead, you’ll seek continuous improvement to our Customer Journeys to increase conversion rates and user experience. You’ll provide strategy to the optimisation team, proposing solutions that balance the customer need alongside the business goals and technical capability. Your main focus will be to create a strategy for personalisation, A/B testing, and cross-sell, providing actionable insight to inform decision making. You’ll lead the relationship with Adobe to ensure we are utilising our tech. You will report into the Head of UX and Optimisation and be a member of the UX & Optimisation leadership team.
What you’ll be working on
1. Leading our Optimisation team, with three direct reports.
2. Able to create a strategy but still be hands-on.
3. Running experiments and personalisation campaigns to optimise the user journey and increase conversion rates across the website, mobile app, and online banking.
4. Interpreting data and providing insights to inform decision-making.
5. Managing the Adobe relationship internally with Digital and the wider team, and externally with the Adobe team.
6. Day-to-day you’ll work closely with Digital heads of department, the UX team, product owners, customer journey managers, product managers, and business stakeholders.
We’re looking for colleagues who have
1. Experience leading and managing people.
2. Experience in running experiments to optimise digital products.
3. Familiarity with personalisation techniques to cross-sell and up-sell products to customers.
4. Ability to create reports and interpret data, providing insights to inform decision-making.
5. Strong communication and influencing skills.
6. Experience with HTML and CSS.
7. Experience managing Adobe Target, AJO, and Analytics or other relevant tools.
8. A keenness to learn and develop.
9. Understanding/interests in new technologies.
10. Precise and high attention to detail.
11. Worked in an agile environment.
