Purpose of the role: Reporting to the Midlands Head of Commercial Sales the role of the Regional Sales Director is to secure new business for the company from an agreed area based on post code allocation, ensuring agreed sales targets are achieved for the periods stated within the Company incentive scheme. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for promoting the company's services and products directly to end users, and third parties, whilst always maintaining the reputation of the company. Key Responsibilities: Manage the workflow of approved new business files to the point where first payment is made. Maintain a strong relationship with the New Business Support Team. Develop ongoing professional relationships with third party introducers. Attend business development or social functions to the benefit of the company. Comply with money laundering regulations relating to the acquisition of New Business. Provide support to national marketing campaigns. Issue quotations in line with company requirements. Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required. The creation of new business proposals and present them to the appropriate level for signatory sign off. Work with internal stakeholders particularly our Credit team regarding quotes for Non-Recourse business. Risk & Compliance: Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required. Skills & Experience: Essential: Proven sales experience within a financial services environment. Highly motivated and target driven. Good understanding of the brand, the products and professional sales techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across the business as well as with external clients and prospects. Strong numeric, organisational and credit analysis skills, and an ability to write concise and articulate credit proposals. Desirable: Invoice Finance sales experience. Education & Qualifications: Essential: Educated to GCSE Grade C and above for English and Maths or equivalent. Desirable: A Level standard or equivalent.
