SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Income Auditor is responsible for reviewing and verifying financial transactions related to revenue, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of daily income reports. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Auditing & Reconciliation:
Review daily revenue reports and reconcile income from different revenue streams (e.g., sales, services, room charges, F&B, retail, etc.).
Verify daily transactions against supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Review and ensure commission costs are correctly reflected in our financial statements
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between reported income and actual cash/credit transactions.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare and distribute monthly income audit reports to management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
Reconciliation and preparation of the City Tax declaration
Maintain proper documentation for audit trails and assist in internal/external audits.
Cash & Credit Card Reconciliation:
Monitor and reconcile cash deposits, credit card payments and bank transactions.
Identify and report any anomalies in revenue collection, refunds, and discounts.
Coordinate with the GX finance team to ensure timely bank deposits and proper handling of revenue.
System & Process Improvement:
Work with relevant departments to enhance financial reporting processes and internal controls.
Assist in implementing financial system upgrades or automation tools.
Provide recommendations for improving revenue tracking and fraud prevention.
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a treasury role.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
Skills and Abilities:
Previous success supporting implementing new policies, procedures, systems, checks and controls.
Ability to team build in a fast paced, high volume, highly pressurised environment.
Strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, payroll, and forecasting.
Multitasking skills and good organisational abilities
Strong interpersonal skills needed to cultivate internal and external relations.
Background in change management and operational efficiency.
In-depth knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations.
Experience with financial software and systems.

To be aware of the departmental risk assessments and their importance in accident/incident prevention. To discuss with managers any reviews, especially after an accident has occurred.
To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, hygiene, liquor licensing, disability, and employment laws
Additional Requirements:
Due to nature of our business employees must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes shifts during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Native is a fast-growing business and other sites will come on board. Flexibility will be required in supporting the opening and setting up of new sites and new teams. You may be required to travel to different Native properties.
