Are you a highly motivated and experienced Material Planner looking for a new opportunity? If so, this could be the role for you. Evotec is looking for an experienced Material Planner to work within our Logistics Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and controlling the supply of materials to meet the demands of GMP Manufacturing.
Role: Senior Material Planner (GMP Warehouse)
Job Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Working between the hours of 0700-1900 Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities or Core Accountabilities:
* Define replenishment methods and inventory levels for consumables and raw materials, utilising Material Master data for maximum system integration.
* Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Procurement to establish an end-to-end understanding from Demand to Supply, refining roles and responsibilities, and fostering collaborative thinking.
* Process purchase requisitions based on Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for consumables and raw materials, including supplier selection.
* Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements and warehouse space availability.
* Take follow-up actions on material shortages affecting Production.
* Monitor inventory levels and material availability against agreed target levels.
* Oversee EWM transactions to ensure reliable batch traceability and eliminate system input errors.
* Maintain KPIs and create regular statistical reports to optimise processes.
* Partner with Procurement on Return Materials Authorization (RMA) instances.
* Develop and improve training for Logistics procedures based on standardised global processes.
* Actively participate in the development of a centralised planning concept that will enable future remote planning and control of materials for other sites.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
* Previous Material Planning/MRP experience, ideally in GMP Manufacturing / Pharmaceutical.
* Must have experience with Material Management ERP Systems, preferably SAP.
* Team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically Excel.
* Proactive approach to work with the ability to problem-solve issues.
* Analytical and passionate about data evaluation, including MRP in SAP.
