Religious Studies Teacher (Secondary School)
Location: Sheffield
Pay Scale: £170- £200 per day
Start: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time
GSL education is looking for a passionate Religious Studies Teacher with an ability to engage with students in Religious Studies. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our secondary school community in Sheffield.
Job summary: As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will deliver effective lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will play a crucial role in helping the students learn and achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and deliver lessons in Religious Studies for KS3 and KS4.
* Teach Geography at KS4, helping students understand the world around them.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
* Create a positive learning environment and ensure that students adhere to their assignments.
* Offer students help and support as needed.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in a relevant Religious Studies, Geography or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and KS4.
* Must have ability to teach Geography at KS4.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
