Position: SEN Teaching Assistant – 20 hours per week - Term time only
Grade: H3 – £23,500.00 (FTE) the salary quoted is the full time equivalent (FTE). As this is a part-time, term time only position, the actual salary with be paid on a pro-rata basis (£10,630.28)
Contract: Rolling Fixed Term Contract (funded position)
Hours of Work: 10.30 am – 2.30 pm Monday to Friday term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. The applicant will be working 1-1 with an Early Years child with significant communication and learning needs, with the aim to provide targeted support to help overcome barriers to learning.
We are looking for an SEN teaching assistant who:
· has knowledge of the Early Years framework and early learning goals;
· has a growth mindset and an understanding of adaptive learning;
· has good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is essential)
· has or is working towards a level 2 or 3 education qualification (desirable)
· has experience of working with children with SEND (desirable);
· can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
· understands and embraces the school's ethos and behaviour policy.
