INTRODUCTION
Burberry is looking for a talented Beauty Art Director to join the Marketing Beauty team. In this position you will work closely with the Senior AD - Beauty, in collaboration with the wider creative team and with the VP Beauty, to develop and define the new brand voice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Consistently seek to push the boundaries of creative in terms of platform innovation and storytelling.
2. Oversee and shape creative projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with objectives.
3. Develop concepts from sketch and mood board phases, delivering against briefed objectives.
4. Consistently create and deliver presentations to the highest standards.
5. Work across all aspects of photo shoots and productions, including creative development, collaboration with on-set teams, and overseeing post-production tasks like retouching, video editing, and grading.
6. Collaborate with Creative Media, Licensing, Marketing, and other teams to ensure effective content use and consistent quality across platforms.
7. Collaborate with production and post-production teams, as well as external suppliers, partners, and agencies, to ensure timelines are met and consistent quality is maintained.
8. Stay up to date with the luxury/beauty market, digital innovation, and creative landscape, while generating fresh, bold ideas to approach projects from a new perspective.
9. Inspire, mentor, and challenge Junior Art Directors while balancing creativity with business needs, marketing strategy, and budget constraints.
PERSONAL PROFILE
1. Experienced in concepting and executing a range of creative projects, including physical, digital, and motion for luxury campaigns, with a background in beauty art direction and understanding of the beauty landscape.
2. Skilled in delivering creative ideas with conviction to stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and remaining calm in a fast-paced environment.
3. Proficient in creating timeless, beautiful work in innovative formats, with a strong photographic aesthetic, attention to detail, and experience directing stills and moving image teams on set.
4. Strong presentation, organisational, and multitasking skills, with creative flair, originality, and an excellent understanding of current beauty trends and innovations.
5. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a solid understanding of post-production processes and team management experience, along with excellent research, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
