The Role & What You Will Be Doing
This role provides support to the Northern European Finance team in reporting performance, budgeting and forecasting. This role gives the opportunity for a university placement student to experience working in a busy commercial finance environment, working with financial systems such as SAP and Hyperion. This role will help hone excel skills by working with large data sets and PowerBI to provide analysis and insight to senior leaders.

* Support the Regional Controller in the preparation of the weekly sales analysis.
* Update the monthly product reporting tools.
* Liaise between country and regional and corporate functions and support country finance teams in reporting and planning related matters.
* Produce ad hoc reports and provide analysis to highlight emerging trends across the Northern European region.
* Participate in regional forecasting and budgeting processes.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
* Enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual.
* Studying towards an analytical undergraduate degree and expected to achieve 2:1 or higher.
* Competent use of Microsoft skills, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team effectively.
* Ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks.
* Strong numeracy, attention to detail and data analysis skills.
