We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Plastering Workshop Assistant to support our team in a fast-paced workshop environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of plastering materials, maintaining a clean and safe working area, and supporting the delivery of high-quality plastering services.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term position until 30/06/25, and we are looking for someone who is available to work full-time (37 hours per week). As a Plastering Workshop Assistant, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in plastering techniques, health and safety procedures, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of plastering materials, including mixing, measuring, and applying plaster.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area, adhering to health and safety protocols and guidelines.
* Support the delivery of high-quality plastering services, including preparing surfaces, applying plaster, and ensuring finishes meet quality standards.
* Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently, following manufacturer instructions and Nescot's safety policies.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Experience in a related trade or industry, preferably in plastering or construction.
* Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
* Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately measure and calculate materials.

Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
