At Vodafone UK, diversity isn’t just a buzzword, it is core to who we are as a company. We’re proud to be certified as a Great Place to Work and are committed to driving inclusion for all; creating a workplace that is fully representative of the communities and customers we serve.
What you’ll do
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the everyday marketing contact with the Challenger Vendors (including but not limited to Motorola, Lenovo, Honor, HMD Nokia, TCL & Doro). This role is the liaison between the Challenger Vendors and the Vodafone CBU marketing channels. It is instrumental in ensuring all Challenger Vendors have visibility of our quarterly plans and sight of our creative executions for approval purposes prior to going live.
This person works closely with the Devices Marketing Planning Manager and Devices Commercial Managers responsible for the Challenger Vendors, helping to deliver theirs and Vodafone’s strategic goals and achieve the joint ambition. This person may on an ad hoc basis support the Google Pixel &/or Android vendors across NPI, Android Weeks and other key calendar moments.
Who you are
This is a key supporting role and a knowledge of the full channel marketing mix and previous vendor facing contact would be advantageous. However, being organised, able to manage multiple initiatives at once in a fast-paced environment is key.
In addition to this, you will have:
1. Experience or a sound understanding of brand, channel or device marketing.
2. Adept at stakeholder management with the ability to control multiple conversations and concurrent workstreams.
3. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
4. Driven and resilient – highly organised and able to get things done whilst managing multiple workstreams.
5. Proactive and willing to get involved in multiple projects of different levels of complexity and understand the broader implications of decisions.
