National Account Manager (Rail Industry)
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

Who you are and what you enjoy doing to be a success in this role:
* You are someone who enjoys accountability and the responsibility that comes with managing larger, multi-site, high-value accounts.
* You have previous experience overseeing growth in B2B accounts across the UK and have a proven record of adding real value to your clients' businesses.
* A people-person, you understand that successfully growing your accounts can only happen through developing strong relationships with your stakeholders and a 360 understanding of their businesses.
* You have previous experience of taking that 360 understanding to identify pain-points and challenges your customers are encountering and look to provide solutions to those issues.
* You are someone who has experience working with multinational/large UK Plc's and enjoy the responsibility that comes with such organisations.
* You work to ensure you create sustainable trusted partner relationships.
* Possessing an understanding of how to create customer need and opportunities, you are someone who takes a solutions-led, consultative approach to what you do.
* You hold a current valid Driver's Licence.
A bit about what you will be doing in this role:
* Develop and leverage constructive relationships within your accounts to gain access to decision makers and establish partnerships.
* Present solution proposals to decision makers and engage them through consultation to secure commercial partnerships.
* Provide quarterly business forecasts to highlight new opportunities, review contract performance against target, and identify sales planning to secure contracted revenue.
* Work effectively with colleagues across the group such as Key Account Managers and Customer Relationship Managers to maximise opportunity for both RS and the customer.
* Review business opportunities for RS to utilise our service and solution offerings, aligning our ability to demonstrate value to our customers.
* Conduct internal and external research to identify customer's requirements and opportunities to develop future activity plans.
