Job Description:
We are seeking a Corporate Assurance Officer (Investigations) to support our team by managing referrals through various channels such as emails and systems, determining appropriate actions—whether recording on the Fraud Management System, conducting preliminary checks using systems like Academy or Enterprise, or investigating which may include interviews under caution and court preparations. The role also involves supporting NFI data matching investigations.
Requirements:
* Professional Fraud Qualification (e.g., ACFS) to conduct Interviews Under Caution
* Experience in Local Government
* Preferably experienced with Fraud Management System (Intec), Academy, and Enterprise (Benefits and Council Tax systems)
This position is a 37-hour week with flexible and agile working arrangements based on experience, primarily based in Barnsley. The contract duration is up to 12 weeks.
