We’re looking for a Data Strategy Consultant who can help our clients make sense of their data — and use it to drive smarter, more effective engagement.
About the role
You’ll work at the intersection of data, marketing, and technology — helping pharma teams to deliver more personalised, effective, and connected customer experiences through the lens of Data Strategy.
As a Data Strategy Consultant, you’ll be expected to:
* Independently design detailed project approaches based on client needs and problem statements
* Proactively execute the project plan, working closely with Forge DC colleagues and client stakeholders
* Act as the day-to-day point of contact for all project-related activity
* Develop high-quality deliverables that meet the client’s objectives — on time and on budget
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires strategic thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to lead from the front.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with 5+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in consulting/agency roles focused on data strategy. You’ll need a strong grasp of:
* Marketing data and how it powers engagement and measurement
* Customer data: what to collect, how to structure it, and how to activate it
* Marketing performance strategies and how to connect data to outcomes
* Orchestration infrastructure: how data flows across platforms to enable journeys
* Optimization methodology: how to measure, test, and improve what’s working
* How Databases Work — you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be able to hold your own in a technical conversation
* Familiarity with MarTech Platforms:
* Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) (E.g. Salesforce Data Cloud, Treasure Data, Tealium AudienceStream, etc)
* Marketing Automation Tools (E.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign)
* Journey Builder Tools (E.g. Salesforce Journey Builder, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Pega Customer Decision Hub)
* CRM Systems (E.g. Veeva, Salesforce)
You should be confident running client workshops, building frameworks, and translating complex data topics into clear, actionable strategies that drive business value.
Bonus points if you have experience with:
* Ad platforms like Google Ads or Meta Ads Manager - and how campaigns are tagged, tracked, and reported on
* Data platforms such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift — and an understanding of how they support customer data strategies
* Governance platforms like Collibra or OneTrust — especially in the context of pharma data privacy and compliance
